Macron announces date in Arabic! France will recognize Palestine!

In a statement on the X social media platform, Macron stated that he spoke with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on the phone.

The French President noted that, in the face of the extreme emergency in the Palestinian territories, including Gaza, he told Abbas that he intends to recognize the State of Palestine in the US state of New York on September 22.

Stating that he would do this within the scope of a peace plan, Macron continued:

"I reiterated our demands to the Palestinian Authority. In this regard, President Abbas reiterated his determination to implement the necessary reforms to renew the Palestinian Authority and ensure the stability of the future State of Palestine."

Macron emphasized that France will continue to accompany the Palestinian authorities on this path and noted that they will ensure that the commitments made for the security and stability of the region are fulfilled.
