ISFALT General Manager confessed! Released

As part of the investigation launched by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, a fifth wave operation was conducted on May 31. The investigation, based on additional statements made by businessman Aziz İhsan Aktaş, identified as a "criminal organization leader," on April 30 and May 11, using effective remorse provisions, resulted in the detention of 27 people, and some of those detained were subsequently arrested.
İSFALT General Manager Burak Korzay, who was arrested on June 4 as part of the investigation, gave statements to the prosecutor's office on July 10 and 21 under the provisions of effective repentance. Following his statements, Korzay was released by the criminal court of peace.
