Meteorology: Temperatures will rise by 3 to 5 degrees

The General Directorate of Meteorology announced the weekly weather forecast for July 28-August 3. Accordingly, temperatures, which are above seasonal norms, will increase by 3 to 5 degrees in inland areas. Today, partly cloudy and clear weather is expected across the Marmara, Aegean, and Western Black Sea regions. In the Mediterranean Region, it is forecasted to be partly cloudy and clear, with partly to very cloudy skies in the east, and local showers and thunderstorms in the Taurus Mountains region of the Eastern Mediterranean. Wind is forecasted to blow from the south and southwest in the east of the region as strong and short-lived gales (50-70 km/h). In the Central Anatolia Region, partly cloudy and clear, with partly cloudy skies in the east, is expected. Wind is expected to blow from the south and southwest in the southeast of the region as strong and short-lived gales (50-70 km/h).
