Galatasaray has signed John Meeks

The statement on the yellow-reds' official website read, "American player John Meeks, who draws attention with his scoring style, high field accuracy, and versatile forward play, will wear the Galatasaray jersey in the 2025-2026 season. Having become a notable name with his strong performances in the Israeli Winner League, the FIBA Europe Cup, and on the Latin American stage with the Puerto Rican team Santeros de Aguada while playing for Bnei Ofek Dist Hertzeliya last season, we wish Meeks a successful career in his split jersey this new season. The 26-year-old basketball player averaged 16.1 points and 4.7 rebounds in 29 league games for Bnei Hertzeliya last season. He returned to Santeros de Aguada in the summer of 2025, where he averaged 20.1 points in an eight-game series.
