Minibus stuck in barrier in Arnavutköy

The accident occurred around 4:00 PM at the entrance to Istanbul Airport. According to reports, a minibus with license plate 34 KCC 571, used for tourist airport transfers, crashed into the guardrails after driver Mehmet Çelik lost control. The force of the impact caused the guardrails to penetrate the engine compartment of the minibus, passing through the driver's seat and impaling the back seat. Police, firefighters, and paramedics were dispatched to the scene of the accident. Minibus driver Mehmet Çelik, who escaped unharmed, extricated himself. It was learned that there were no passengers in the minibus. Police took security measures on the road where the accident occurred, and the minibus was towed away.
