İSFALT General Manager Burak Korzay released on active remorse

Burak Korzay, General Manager of İSFALT (Istanbul Asphalt Factories Industry and Trade Inc.), who was arrested during the Aziz İhsan Aktaş criminal organization investigation and testified under the provisions of effective repentance, was released.

The investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into the criminal organization of which Aktaş is alleged to be the ringleader continues.

Korzay, who was arrested on June 4, gave statements to the prosecutor's office on July 10 and 21 as part of his effective repentance.

Korzay was released by the criminal court of peace after his statement was taken.

In the investigation in which Aziz İhsan Aktaş is accused of being the ringleader of the organization, it is alleged that the criminal organization organized tenders by bribing mayors and senior municipal officials.

Aktaş also testified last month of active remorse and was later released.
