Fugitive sentenced to 21 years in prison caught during identity check in Izmir
In Izmir , teams from the Public Security Department Motorcycle Police Teams (Yunuslar) and Bornova Crime Investigation Bureau carried out an operation throughout the district today. During the inspection, police teams stopped a person they suspected. During the identity check, it was determined that the suspect was MY, who had a final sentence of 21 years, 10 months and 15 days in prison. MY, who was taken into custody, was taken to Işıkkent Police Station. The fugitive convict was handed over to the courthouse after his interrogation at the police station.
