LIVE WEATHER | The cold side of spring started this morning! Yellow alert issued in 25 provinces: Meteorology warns of showers and storms

The General Directorate of Meteorology has issued a yellow code warning for 25 provinces in the east and southeast of the country. The warning urges citizens to be careful and take precautions against the risk of heavy rain, occasional storms and sudden floods in these regions.

Provinces with yellow code warnings are as follows:

Adana, Ağrı, Bingöl, Bitlis, Diyarbakır, Elazığ, Erzincan, Erzurum, Gaziantep, Hakkari, Hatay, Mersin, Kars, Malatya, Kahramanmaraş, Muş, Siirt, Tunceli, Van, Batman, Şırnak, Ardahan, Iğdır, Kilis and Osmaniye.

Meteorology officials warned against possible negative events such as floods, lightning, hail and disruptions in transportation, and emphasized that citizens should follow the announcements of the governor's office and local governments.
