Will community clinics be open or closed on July 15th? Will Family Health Centers be open tomorrow? Can appointments be made?

In Türkiye, days of religious, national, and cultural significance are celebrated as official holidays. This year, July 15th, Democracy and National Unity Day, falls on a Tuesday. Municipalities, banks, cargo companies, governorships, district governorships, notaries, and many other businesses will be closed on Tuesday. Those seeking treatment, preparing for a doctor's appointment, or seeking medication are especially keen to check whether healthcare facilities are open. Pharmacies on duty will remain open on July 15th. Hospitals, except for emergency rooms, will be closed. So, will community clinics be open on July 15th? Here's the answer to the question...

Because July 15th is a public holiday, doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals working at community clinics are on leave. Community clinics will be closed all day on Tuesday, July 15th. Appointments will not be available through MHRS for this date. Community clinics, or family physicians, will continue to operate on Wednesday, July 16th. Family physicians' working days may vary by province or district.

Pharmacies in healthcare institutions will operate on duty. Citizens can easily find pharmacies on duty in their provinces and districts via e-Government. Emergency services in private and public hospitals will continue to operate on public holidays.
