Tragic accident in Düzce: 2 people seriously injured in car falling from 20 meters into parking lot

A car that lost control on a winding road in the Orhan Gazi Neighborhood of Düzce fell from a height of approximately 20 meters into the parking lot of the Düzce Technopark campus. The driver Mahmut Sami D. and Cengizhan O., who was with him, were seriously injured in the accident.

In the accident that occurred at around 11:00, the car with the license plate 81 AEL 954 lost control on the winding road and crashed into the parking lot. The two people trapped in the car were rescued by the intervention of the fire department teams that arrived at the scene.

Fire crews cut the roof of the car and pulled the trapped driver and passenger out of the vehicle. The injured were given first aid and taken to hospital, where it was learned that their health condition remains serious.
