Memorandum of understanding signed with Spain for HÜRJET

TAI made a statement on its social media account regarding the agreement. The statement titled 'Important step towards Europe' said, "The golden age of Turkish aviation continues its rapid progress. We have opened a new page in our aviation history. Under the coordination of Airbus, we have signed a memorandum of understanding with Spanish companies regarding our supersonic jet training aircraft HÜRJET. A new page will be opened in HÜRJET's international journey, and HÜRJET, which we developed with national resources, will further strengthen Spain. May it be beneficial for our country and our dear nation."

Defense Industry President Haluk Görgün also made the following statement: "The pride of Turkish engineering, HÜRJET, is now even more ambitious on the international stage. This agreement signed with Spain is not only a cooperation; it is also an export of knowledge, capability and vision. This step is a concrete reflection of the strategic cooperation we have established with Europe in the defense industry.
