Terrible accident at intersection: Tractor and car collided, 5 injured

Five people were injured in a traffic accident that occurred in the Karamanlı district of Burdur.

The accident occurred on the Burdur-Fethiye highway in the Karamanlı district around 3:30 p.m. According to reports, a tractor with license plate 15 DD 985, driven by İbrahim T., and a Toyota car with license plate 54 BC 789, driven by Çiğdem A., collided at the intersection.

As a result of the collision, the tractor driver İbrahim T., the car driver Çiğdem A., and Yılmaz A., Hamza A., and Ümeyne A., who were in the vehicle, were injured.

Following reports from nearby residents, medical, police, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. After receiving initial treatment, the injured were transported by ambulance to Burdur State Hospital. Their injuries are reported to be non-life-threatening.

An investigation into the cause of the accident has been launched by law enforcement. Traffic flow at the intersection has been controlled.
