A car lost control on the Burdur-Fethiye highway and crashed into the barriers at the Akyaka intersection. Driver Ramazan A., who was trapped inside the vehicle, was rescued by firefighters.

The accident occurred today on the Burdur-Fethiye highway in the village of Akyaka, Burdur city center. According to reports, the car with license plate 15 ADN 871, driven by Ramazan A., lost control at the Akyaka intersection and crashed into the barriers.

The impact of the collision left the vehicle completely destroyed, and the driver, Ramazan A., was trapped inside. Health, fire, police, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene after being alerted by nearby residents.

Firefighters used specialized equipment to extricate the trapped driver from the vehicle. Following initial treatment by paramedics, the injured man was taken by ambulance to Burdur State Hospital.
