Tanker fire off the coast of Ambarlı, Istanbul

The incident occurred around 12:45 PM off the coast of Ambarlı Port. According to reports, smoke from the tanker Aslan 3 alerted the General Directorate of Coastal Safety and the Marine Police. Coastal Safety teams responded to the scene and intervened from the sea using tugboats. The fire was quickly extinguished, and a cooling operation was conducted. The exact cause of the fire, which broke out approximately 700 meters from shore, will be determined after an investigation.
