President Erdoğan met with the families of the forest fire martyrs: We are deeply saddened

Sercan Utni and Hilmi Şahin, from Denizli, who were among the 10 people who were martyred in the flames during the forest fire in Eskişehir, were buried in their hometown of Beyağaç.

CONDOLENCES FROM PRESIDENT ERDOĞAN

Paying a condolence visit to the families , AK Party Deputy Chairman of Economic Affairs Nihat Zeybekci and AK Party Denizli Deputy Nilgün Ök met with the mothers and fathers of the martyrs who lost their children in the fire and offered their condolences.

Zeybekci also arranged for the families of the martyrs to speak with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on the phone.

"OUR SORRY IS GREAT"

Before Nihat Zeybekci's phone call, Erdoğan spoke with the family of martyr Hilmi Şahin, offering his condolences and expressing his sympathy for them. He said, "God willing, you too will rise to the same level of status they have in the eternal realm. May God be your helper and companion. My wife is with me. She sends her greetings to you as well."

President Erdoğan, who later met with the family of martyr Sercan Utni in the same way, said , "First of all, we offer our condolences. May God reunite you with your child in heaven, God willing. May God be your helper and companion. Our sorrow is immense. May God grant us the opportunity to meet our martyrs in heaven, God willing. My wife also sends her greetings." The martyr's mother replied, "Send her greetings, too. May God bless you. May God be very pleased with you all."
