Passenger bus crashes into gas station in Malatya: 8 injured

In a traffic accident that occurred overnight in Malatya, a passenger bus belonging to the Tokat Yıldızı company, traveling from Zonguldak to Batman, entered the car wash of a gas station after the driver lost control. The accident occurred around 2:45 a.m. in the Kendirli area of the Malatya-Sivas highway.

Eight of the 26 passengers and three crew members on the bus sustained various injuries. Gendarmerie, paramedics, and UMKE teams were dispatched to the scene following reports. After receiving first aid, the injured were taken to various hospitals in Malatya.

Following the accident, gendarmerie teams launched an investigation. While material damage was caused to the bus and station structure, authorities stated that all aspects of the accident are being thoroughly investigated.
