Ministry of Justice personnel recruitment application dates: When will the applications for CTE correctional officer recruitment end?


The Ministry of Justice shared a recruitment announcement. In the statement: "According to the provisions of the subparagraph (B) of the article 4 of the Civil Servants Law no. 657, article 114 of the Judges and Prosecutors Law no. 2802, articles 8 and 11 of the Presidential Decree No. 2 on General Staff and Procedure, the Principles on the Employment of Contracted Personnel put into effect with the decision of the Council of Ministers dated 06.06.1978 and numbered 7/15754 and the Regulation on Exam, Appointment and Transfer of Civil Servants of the Ministry of Justice, to be employed in contracted positions for the penal institutions whose locations, numbers, titles and qualifications are specified in ANNEX-1; 3,172 enforcement and protection officers, 91 nurses, 52 technicians, 100 support personnel (drivers), 29 support personnel (cooks), 2 support personnel (heaters), 30 support personnel (caretakers), 24 support personnel (servants) "A total of 3,500 personnel will be recruited."

Applications will begin at 09:00 on August 1, 2025, and end at 23:59 on August 15, 2025. Candidates will apply by logging in to www.turkiye.gov.tr and using the Ministry of Justice/Job application screen, which will be activated in the e-Government system between August 1 and 15, 2025.

1. General Conditions: a) Being a Turkish citizen, b) Even if the periods specified in Article 53 of the Turkish Penal Code have passed; not to have been convicted of crimes against the security of the State, crimes against the Constitutional order and the functioning of this order, embezzlement, extortion, bribery, theft, fraud, forgery, abuse of trust, fraudulent bankruptcy, bid rigging, tampering with the performance of obligations, laundering of assets derived from crime or smuggling, even if the periods specified in Article 53 of the Turkish Penal Code have passed. c) Not to have any connection with the military or not to have reached the military age, or if reached the military age, to have completed their active military service or to have been postponed or transferred to the reserve class, ç) Having a positive result in the security investigation and archive research, d) In all titles other than executioner and guard officer to be employed in the penal institution; According to the "c" clause of the 18th paragraph of the 6th article of the "Special Conditions" section of the Ministry of Justice Civil Servant Exam, Appointment and Transfer Regulation, for all personnel to be appointed openly, they must certify with a health board report that they do not have any mental illness or physical disability that may prevent them from performing their duties continuously, and that they do not have any disabilities such as strabismus, blindness, lameness, hearing loss, permanent facial features, limb deficiency, stuttering or similar disabilities, which will be determined as regional hospitals by the General Directorate of Prisons and Detention Houses.

e) To take the practical and/or oral exam to be conducted by the justice commissions, in the 2024 Public Personnel Selection Exam; to obtain a minimum score of 70 from the score type (KPSS) of KPSSP3 for bachelor's degree graduates, KPSSP93 for associate degree graduates, and KPSSP94 for secondary school graduates, f) To be over 18 years of age as of 15.08.2025, which is the application deadline for the exam; and to be under 30 years of age for enforcement and protection officers as of the first day of January in the year in which the central exam (KPSS-2024) is held (Those born on or after 01 January 1994 can apply for the exam). g) To meet the requirements sought in the special law or other legislation related to the class in which they will serve.
