Hard times on snowy roads: Offroad team rescues vehicles

With the arrival of spring in Erzurum, many drivers started using summer tires, but there were difficult times on the roads due to the surprise snowfall. Members of the Macer Offroad Search and Rescue and Nature Sports Club helped citizens stranded in the Tekman Pass.

Vehicles Towed to Safe Areas

When drivers were unable to move their vehicles at many points due to heavy snowfall in the region, club teams removed the vehicles from their locations and ensured that drivers continued on their way safely.

Unexpected Spring Weather Conditions

Sudden weather changes, which are common in Erzurum during this period, can pose a risk to drivers. The fact that summer tires do not provide sufficient grip against snow and ice has led to an increase in the number of stranded vehicles.

Thanks to the quick intervention of club members, stranded drivers were able to continue their journey without any adverse events.
