Attention Istanbulites! A district will be without water for 15 hours.

The Istanbul Water and Sewerage Administration (İSKİ) announced that some neighborhoods in the Büyükçekmece district will experience water outages due to planned infrastructure work. As part of the connection and installation work on the transmission line in the Fatih neighborhood, water will be unavailable in six neighborhoods from 9:00 a.m. until midnight on Wednesday, July 23, 2025.

Neighborhoods affected by the outage:

– 19 Mayıs Neighborhood – Dizdariye Neighborhood – Fatih Neighborhood – Cumhuriyet Neighborhood – Pınartepe Neighborhood

– Ataturk Neighborhood

İSKİ stated that water will be provided again after the work is completed and asked citizens to be cautious during the outage.

In the statement made by the İSKİ Corporate Communications Branch Directorate, it was stated that the work was carried out to ensure a healthier operation of the drinking water transmission system in the region and that the public's understanding was sought.
