Approximately 4 thousand robots will compete in the International MEB Robot Competition

The international competition, organized annually by the Ministry of National Education, will be held this year on May 21-24 at the Kayseri Kadir Has Congress Center.
Provincial Director of National Education Coşkun Esen said that they were proud that the International MEB Robot Competition was held in Kayseri.
Reminding that the competition had previously been held in 16 provinces, Esen said, "The aim of this organization is to increase the quality of vocational and technical education, create awareness in society, and raise competitive and entrepreneurial individuals. One of the most important aims of this competition is for our children to be aware of industrial and technological developments and to experience these with their international peers."
"Competitions will be held in 15 categories"Esen stated that the competition was a large and prestigious organization and noted:
"As of now, there will be 3,903 robots and 10,472 participants from 14 countries and 81 provinces. The number of participants in the competition is the highest level reached to date. We are extremely happy about this. We will hold these competitions at the Kadir Has Congress Center. Competitions will be held in 15 categories where middle school and middle school equivalent, middle school and university students can participate.
All production of the competition areas was done by our schools under the sponsorship of our Ministry and as a result of our Ministry's production of resources. Competitions will be held in areas such as basic line-following robot, advanced line-following robot, unmanned aerial vehicle, RC fixed wing, underwater and above-water robot."
Esen stated that an event will be held where children from different countries will compete fiercely and raise awareness, and that various prizes will be given to those who win in the competition on May 21-24.
