Buryatia University Wins Third Place at Russian Freestyle Wrestling Championship

The Buryat State Agricultural Academy won bronze at the Russian Championship in freestyle wrestling among students. The Russian Championship in sports wrestling among students was held in Vladikavkaz, in which more than 350 wrestlers from 30 regions of the country and 43 universities took part. The team of the Buryat State Agricultural Academy (BSAA) showed excellent results, taking third place in the overall team competition.

The Buryat athletes demonstrated high achievements, winning medals: gold - Erdem Borogshonov, silver - Ayur Zhigzhitov, and bronze medals went to Bair Bayanduev, Boris Barshuev and Ilya Zhibalov. This success became a significant contribution to the team's collection and emphasizes the high level of training of the Buryat wrestlers.
