Athlete from Khakassia wins bronze at Russian Pankration Championship

From April 30 to May 4, Novosibirsk hosted the Russian Championship in wrestling (pankration) among children aged 14 to 19. The competition was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the press service of the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Khakassia reports.

The competition was attended by 995 fighters representing 60 regions of the country. Maksim Dolgopolov represented Khakassia and won bronze in the weight category up to 63 kilograms among young men aged 16-17.

The athlete trains under the coaching guidance of Igor Kamalov.
