Athletes from Tuva win Altai wrestling competition in Khakassia

From June 21 to 22, the 1st All-Russian Games in National Wrestling Types "Games of Ancestors" were held in Abakan. The best in the Altai wrestling competition "Kuresh" were determined the day before, the press service of the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Khakassia reports.

The victory was in the hands of Kezhik Ondar, Aydys Mongush, Baazan-Dorzhu Sandak, Artysh Mongush and Aydin Mongush, who represented Tuva and finished the matches with a score of 4:1.

Silver was won by athletes from Buryatia: Bair Shagdurov, Bayaskhalan Ochirov, Sangadi Ulzetuev, Zorigto Tsyrendondopov and Erdem Tsyrenzhapov. The top three was closed by the Irkutsk Region, represented by Yuri Opkhonov, Igor Tapkhareev, Dmitry Barnakov, Arkady Cherkashin and Yuri Ivanov.
