Almost every user of Russian social networks is familiar with the sensational hit of Svetlana Tertishcheva and Maria Yankovskaya called "Sigma-boy". The young performers, together with their music producer Alina Yankovskaya (Maria's mother), became guests of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

Behind the scenes of the event, we managed to find out how much income the 11-year-old artists earned from their viral composition. Alina Yankovskaya admitted that she had not yet received a fee for the track.

"Can you imagine, we haven't earned anything yet. The label hasn't paid us yet."

Despite this, the girls do not lose optimism. Alina noted that the financial side of the issue is not a priority for them. Much more important is the wide recognition, thanks to which the performers got the opportunity to attend the international forum.

Maria Yankovskaya said that along with her popularity, she faced a wave of criticism and unwanted attention at school. The situation became so tense that the girl had to switch to home schooling.
