The first week of August is expected to see a cold front and drop in temperatures.

The first week of August is expected to see the advance of a cold front and falling temperatures in the South and Southeast of Brazil. Rains are expected to spread across the South of the country and parts of the North and Central-West. The Southeast, Northeast, and most of the North and Central-West remain dry.
On Monday (4), the presence of a cold front in the South should favor rain conditions in most of the region. The instabilities should also cause rain in the west and south-central Mato Grosso do Sul, in the west of Mato Grosso, in Acre, in Rondônia and in the south and west of Amazonas.
In the Northeast, the forecast calls for passing rain in almost all capital cities. The rest of the region will remain dry. The Southeast and most of the North and Central-West regions will also remain dry.
This Monday (4), temperatures are expected to drop in the South and on Tuesday (5), temperatures are also expected to drop in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. Temperatures are only expected to rise again on Thursday (7), but will drop again over the weekend. In the central region of the country, the heat remains strong.
The week ends with the arrival of another cold front and an extratropical cyclone, which should cause strong winds and rain in the South between Sunday (10) and Monday (11). The sea should be rough with a risk of storm surge in the region.
