Sergio Ariani Trophy, photos and ranking of the pairs race

Florence, 10 May 2025 – The evening running activity in Florence has restarted with great participation thanks to the 22nd Sergio Ariani Trophy , the classic race for couples organised by GS Le Panche Castelquarto, which took place on the traditional 7-kilometre route.

The rules, as always, required that the couples cross the finish line together, giving the race a special flavor made of harmony and collaboration. There was also a recreational track, designed for those who wanted to participate in a non-competitive way. The 157 couples at the start almost equaled the historical record of the event, a significant result in a period in which many races are dealing with a reduction in attendance.

"It's as if the record had been broken," commented Cinzia Silori, president of GS Le Panche, "given the general decline that is affecting running events throughout Italy." At the end of the race, at the Le Panche club in via Caccini, the organizers welcomed the participants with a rich buffet and organized the awards ceremony for the fastest couples. The photo shoot, created by ETS Regalami un Sorriso, is available online and is indexed by bib number, allowing each participant to easily find their images.
