An Investigative Commission has been established to review complaints against Judicial Branch employees.

This Wednesday, the Investigation Commission of the Judicial Disciplinary Tribunal (TDJ) was established . Its main objective is to analyze complaints and reports against public servants of the Federal Judiciary (PJF) . The commission seeks to guarantee transparency, rigor, and respect for due process in resolving cases involving potential irregularities.
The Investigative Commission is chaired by Judge Bernardo Bátiz Vázquez and includes Judges Eva Verónica de Gyvés Zárate and Rufino H. León Tovar . This working group will be responsible for evaluating complaints filed against members of the Federal Judiciary, ensuring that the processes are conducted objectively and based on verifiable evidence.
The Judicial Administration Body (OAJ) emphasized that the commission's mission is to strengthen public trust in the Judiciary, ensuring that each case is reviewed with integrity and professional ethics.
During his address, Bátiz Vázquez emphasized that justice entails giving each person what they are due , punishing the guilty, and protecting the rights of those who claim them. In this regard, he stressed the importance of training and ethical preparation for members of the judicial bodies , as well as the relevance of investigation as a tool for uncovering the truth.
“Investigating is about seeking the truth in the facts,” the magistrate stated, emphasizing that strict ethics and integrity are essential to fulfilling this task.
Judge Eva Verónica de Gyvés Zárate stated that the members of the commission will work in a coordinated manner to restore respect for the Federal Judiciary and respond to the demands of society . She also assured that each complaint will be reviewed rigorously, objectively, and with respect for due process , verifying that the reported facts are supported by evidence before determining whether to initiate a formal investigation.
Judge Rufino León Tovar explained that the commission will function as a support body for the Office of Investigation of Administrative Responsibilities of Public Servants of the Federal Judiciary , which acts as the court's prosecutor. Its role is to support investigations into alleged irregularities by public servants and ensure that the proceedings are conducted with respect for constitutional guarantees and the fundamental rights of all those involved.
The creation of this commission reinforces the Federal Judiciary 's commitment to transparency and accountability. By establishing a specialized mechanism to investigate the conduct of public officials, the aim is to protect the integrity of the judicial system and foster public trust in the institutions responsible for administering justice in Mexico.
The commission also represents an important step towards the professionalization and ethical oversight of the members of the Federal Judiciary , ensuring that any irregularity is addressed responsibly and in accordance with the law, thus strengthening the rule of law in the country.
