Trump celebrates nuclear destruction in Iran, but secret report indicates minimal damage

The White House released a report on Wednesday, June 25, with official statements stating that the operation against Iran's nuclear facilities was a resounding success. This was confirmed by multiple high-level officials from the US, Israel , and international organizations.

However, a recent report from the Pentagon's Defense Intelligence Agency states that the bombings caused no damage.

The White House defends attack on Iran

According to the White House, more than 125 aircraft, including B2 bombers, fourth- and fifth-generation fighters, and a guided-missile submarine, participated in last weekend's attacks. Thirty-six thousand-pound penetrating bombs were used against key installations such as Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan.

According to President Donald Trump, Iran's nuclear program has been "totally obliterated." The International Atomic Energy Agency confirmed damage to buildings and tunnels storing enriched uranium. Israeli officials estimated the program was delayed "for years," while Iran acknowledged that its facilities were "severely damaged."

However, a previously unpublished analysis by the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) determined that the core components of the nuclear program were not destroyed. With more underground and secret facilities, it only delayed the project by a few months.

Furthermore, according to CNN, two people close to the analysis claimed that Iran's enriched uranium stockpiles remain intact, contradicting high-ranking statements. The US president therefore downplayed the alleged leak, dismissing it as fake news.

"Fake News CNN, along with the failed New York Times, have teamed up to try to downgrade one of the most successful military attacks in history. Iran's nuclear facilities are completely destroyed!" Donald Trump asserted in a social media post.
