A strong capital duo: Berliner Verlag and 1. FC Union Berlin deepen their partnership

Berliner Verlag and 1. FC Union Berlin are entering the 2025/2026 season with a new partnership: As the new premium sponsor, Berliner Verlag will closely support Union Berlin in the future – media-wise, journalistically, and with attractive offers for fans and those who are yet to become fans.
To kick off the collaboration, the Berliner Zeitung is launching an exclusive “Subscription & Match Ticket” offer : Anyone who takes out a digital subscription to the Berliner Zeitung now will receive tickets for one of the top-class test matches of 1. FC Union Berlin – and can experience the professional team live at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei.
There was also a special offer for the youngest fans: the chance to be a runner-up. For the international test matches, the editorial team raffled off seats where children could run into the stadium hand in hand with the players – an unforgettable moment for the little giants on the pitch .
