New footage shows players involved in sideline fight as water boy tries to prevent attack

Sunday’s Mountbellew-Moylough vs Killanin Galway SFC preliminary quarter-final was packed full of drama and controversy, with two major scuffles and an incredible comeback.
Mountbellew had led by 11 points at half-time, but an epic comeback put Killanin ahead in injury time, 3-10 to 1-15.
On Monday, footage emerged of a scuffle in the last play of the game, when a ball was sent deep into the Mountbellew half towards forward Barry McHugh, who was alone with just one defender marking him.

He fell to the ground, and appealed to the referee for a free for a pull down, but play was waved on.
In reaction, McHugh proceeded to strike three opposition players in the face, with two of them hitting the ground.
After been shown a red card, he sarcastically gave a thumbs up to the ref.
But later on Monday, more footage emerged of a fight on the sidelines, involving what looked to be two Maor Uisce and players.
Wreckless enough carry on from the mountbellew lad on the line. Why would you get involved in this shite when 5 points up and 8 mins left. They went on to get knocked out btw. This two pointer might never have had happened. pic.twitter.com/47PyoDZVpj

As Killanin attacked, with one player running down left sideline, he was dragged back by what looked like one of the Mountbellew water boys, prompting another member of staff from Killanin to take him out.
A scrap between them ensued, which prompted players from both sides to get involved, all the while Killanin scored a two-pointer to start their comeback.
Killanin will now face Tuam Stars in the last eight of the Galway SFC.
