Brian Ó Beaglaoich Sums Up Huge Impact Ex Cork Star Has Made At Kerry Club Since Transfer

While much of the discussion prior to Sunday's Kerry intermediate final revolved around Fossa and the Clifford brothers, An Gaeltacht would produce a brilliant performance in order to emerge as deserved winners in the game.
The west Kerry club are not short on quality of their own, most notably in the form of Brian Ó Beaglaoich.
The Kerry star was in imperious form in the game, notching a personal tally of 0-9 in the opening half of the game. That included four two-pointers from play.
It capped off what has been a wonderful season for the 29-year old, having also league, provincial, and All-Ireland honours with Kerry in 2025.

Ó Beaglaoich Sums Up Ex Cork Star's Impact At Kerry Club Since TransferWhile An Gaeltacht is part of a unique Irish-speaking community, they have also made a valuable addition from outside the parish in recent times.
Former Cork dual star Aidan Walsh would transfer to the club earlier this year, having previously lived in the area for a number of years. He spoke in glowing terms after the final about how welcoming everyone had been to him over the last number of months.
Speaking to the Irish Examiner, Brian Ó Beaglaoich summed up what Walsh had brought to the club since his arrival.
I know Aidan put a serious effort into Kanturk, bringing them to where they are in hurling and football.
He has brought massive experience to us, he’s very calm on the ball, he has a serious engine, and he was up and down the field all day for us.
In that second half, he won a couple of massive turnovers. Everyone gets on well with him, he’s just a good lad, he’d fit in anywhere.
Very high praise.
An Gaeltacht will have a provincial intermediate campaign to contend with later this year, while many of their players will now also line out for West Kerry in the Kerry Senior Championship starting this weekend.
