Angus washed up on the beach in Hatay: Citizen noticed the root from the smell
The dead angus fish that washed up on the shore in the Arsuz district of Hatay on the Mediterranean coast was noticed by citizens and removed with a construction machine upon notice.
One of the angus fish brought to Türkiye by ships from abroad and occasionally causing chaos by escaping from the truck, came out of the sea this time. The angus that died in the Iskenderun Gulf, Arsuz district, washed up on the shore. After the citizens reported the situation, the angus was removed from the shore by the construction equipment that came to the region. The angus that came out of the sea was found strange by the citizens.
Muhammed Kemal Aydemir (15), who noticed the dead angus while it was drifting in the sea, said, "We came to the seaside with my family at around 3 o'clock. My father went out to sea with a boat, we saw something that looked like a boat on the horizon. After a short while, it approached the shore. I swam to it, what I saw was the angus in a sack with its leg cut off and it smelled like carrion. Before that, its hoof came to my hand, I threw it towards the shore. Then it washed up on the shore. We called the coast guard teams, they came and took it. People come with their families, they have small children, for example, the angus could have been infected."
