The 2025-26 Süper Lig season opens with a Gaziantep FK-Galatasaray match. The first half of the 306-match marathon, spanning nine months and nine days, will take place on December 19-20, 21-22, and the season will conclude on May 17, 2026. Having reigned supreme for the last three seasons and sporting a fifth star with their 25th championship, Galatasaray is now on the hunt for a sixth. Manager Okan Buruk omitted Icardi and Osimhen, who were unavailable, from the Gaziantep squad. Morata and Köhn were also not transferred to Antep.
