Two helicopters collided, 5 dead

Five people died after two helicopters collided in mid-air in the town of Eura in southwestern Finland.

According to Yle news, two helicopters collided in mid-air as they approached Piikajarvi Airport and crashed in a forest area in the town of Eura.

Authorities confirmed that five people, including the pilots of the helicopters, were killed.

It was reported that search, rescue and evidence collection efforts are continuing at the scene, and the final accident report will be shared after a detailed technical examination.

According to local media, the helicopters were on their way to an aviation event held at the Piikajarvi Flight Centre in Kokemaki.
