The top model of the series, the iPhone 17 Pro Max, is claimed to be about 5 percent thicker than its predecessor, the iPhone 16 Pro Max. It is estimated that this change was made in order to increase the battery capacity of the device. According to the latest rumors, the battery capacity of the iPhone 17 Pro Max will be increased from 4,676 mAh to 5,000 mAh.
NO DIFFERENCE IN THE CAMERAThis information was shared by an account called “Ice Universe” on the Chinese social media platform Weibo, which has more than 1.5 million followers. The account, which has previously made accurate predictions about Apple products, stated that the increase in thickness indicates a battery improvement. Although some camera innovations were first seen in the Pro Max models in the past, no significant difference is expected in terms of camera hardware between the Pro and Pro Max this year. It is stated that both models will come with an upgraded 24-megapixel front camera and three 48-megapixel rear cameras.
PRICE HAS BEEN ANNOUNCEDThe starting price of the iPhone 16 in Türkiye is currently 69,999 TL, while the price of the iPhone 16 Pro Max 1 TB model is 131,999 TL. The new series is expected to be offered for sale at higher prices due to increased production costs and exchange rates. It is estimated that the lowest model of the iPhone 17 series will cost around 80 thousand TL, while the most expensive model will cost close to 150 thousand TL.
