Access to the live broadcast service has been blocked in Türkiye

Amazon Web Services (AWS)'s live streaming service, Amazon Interactive Video Service (IVS), has been blocked in Türkiye. The National Lottery Administration has blocked access to the live-video.net domain used by the service, citing illegal betting practices.

ILLEGAL BETTING WAS PLANNED

According to information shared by Engelliweb, the access ban was issued by the General Directorate of the National Lottery Administration with decision number 2025/134, dated September 16, 2025. The decision cited "illegal betting" as the reason for the access ban.

MAY AFFECT OTHER LIVE STREAMING PLATFORMS

It's unclear which platforms use Amazon IVS in Türkiye. However, some sources indicate that access issues may occur with live streaming platforms like Kick. It's also been reported that the EasyGo brand also uses Amazon IVS infrastructure.
