President Erdoğan was welcomed with an official ceremony in China

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan traveled to Tianjin, China, to attend the 25th Shanghai Cooperation Organization Council of Heads of State Summit. Erdoğan was welcomed at Tianjin International Airport by Chinese Minister of State Ley Haycao, Turkish Ambassador to Beijing Selçuk Ünal, and embassy staff.
Accompanying President Erdoğan during his visit were his wife Emine Erdoğan, as well as Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar, Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek, Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler, Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat, AK Party Deputy Chairman Halit Yerebakan, MHP Deputy Chairman İsmail Faruk Aksu, MIT Director İbrahim Kalın, Presidential Communications Director Burhanettin Duran, President of Defense Industries Haluk Görgün, and Presidential Private Secretary Hasan Doğan.
President Erdoğan will attend a dinner hosted by Chinese President Xi Jinping in honor of the summit leaders. Erdoğan will also hold bilateral meetings with Xi Jinping and other heads of state attending the summit.
