China threatens Israeli MP: 'It will fall and shatter into pieces'

Following statements made by Israeli Yesh Atid Party MP Boaz Toporovsky during his visit to Taiwan last week, the Chinese Embassy in Israel issued an unprecedented statement targeting Toporovsky.

The embassy accused Toporovski in a Facebook post of making comments that "seriously violate the one-China principle and undermine the political foundation of China-Israel relations." The statement warned that "if he is not restrained, he will fall and shatter on the edge of the cliff."
