How to Watch Rogue One After You Finish Andor Season 2

It's almost time for a real rebellion. Andor, arguably the greatest Star Wars TV show in the franchise's streaming era, is very close to its grand finale—season 2 bows out on Disney+ on May 13. But it's not really the end for Diego Luna's Cassian Andor. As you might already know, the character originated as a major character in the 2016 movie Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, with Andor designed as a prequel that segues neatly into Rogue One.
After Disney acquired Lucasfilm in 2012, the studio giant strove to revitalize Star Wars for a new generation. While 2015 marked the beginning of the sequel trilogy with Star Wars: The Force Awakens—the new "Disney Era" of Star Wars was also meant to have standalone films released between main episode installments. The first of ultimately just two Star Wars "anthology" films became Rogue One, released in 2016.
Remember how in A New Hope the Rebels had the plans to the Death Star? Schematics that told Luke Skywalker where to aim his X-Wing guns to destroy the Empire's biggest weapon? Rogue One revealed how the Rebellion got their hands on the intel that finally gave them an edge in the galaxy's civil war.
But if it's been a minute since you've seen Rogue One, or you've somehow not seen the movie at all (and by the way, you should, because it's great), then now is the perfect opportunity to finally do so. The good news? There's no shortage of ways to stream Rogue One.
Like other Star Wars movies, Rogue One is streaming on Disney+ and Hulu. Additionally, Rogue One is available for digital rental or purchase on places like Amazon, Apple TV+, Google Play, and Fandango at Home. Acquiring Rogue One through Google Play also allows access to the movie via YouTube.
We hope you enjoy finishing Cassian Andor's story in its entirely. And always remember: Rebellions are built on hope.
