Backstage discussions regarding Fahrettin Altun's dismissal

According to the appointment decrees published with the signature of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Burhanettin Duran has been appointed as the Presidential Director of Communications. Fahrettin Altun, who has served as the Director of Communications since 2018, has been appointed as the president of the Turkish Human Rights Equality Institution (TİHEK).
Alleged conspiracy attempt
Journalist Fatih Altaylı shared a compelling backstage account of Altun's dismissal on his personal YouTube channel. He claimed that a "conspiracy and fabrication attempt" against a trusted figure within the AKP played a role in Altun's dismissal.
"HE CAME TO ERDOĞAN WITH DOCUMENTS, AND ERDOĞAN TOOK ACTION IMMEDIATELY"
According to Altaylı, Altun had been waging a long-term negative campaign against a figure in a powerful position within the AKP. This figure, however, did not take Altun's information seriously because he had direct access to President Erdoğan.
According to Altaylı's behind-the-scenes account, the alleged conspiracy attempt, orchestrated by Altun, was presented to Erdoğan, along with accompanying documents. Erdoğan, however, "pulled the trigger without a moment's hesitation." It's being suggested that this development, which is being discussed behind the scenes in Ankara, could have other consequences in the coming days.
DDM denied the allegations
The Directorate of Communications issued a statement regarding similar claims made by former Communications Director Fahrettin Altun on social media, reported by the newspaper's Serdar Akinan, regarding his reassignment. The statement read, "Activities aimed at conducting perception management operations based on reassignments constitute disinformation aimed at damaging the strong administrative structure of our state."
