The Arbitration Board's meeting on civil servant raises has concluded.

The first meeting of the Public Officials Arbitration Board to determine the financial and social rights of civil servants and retired civil servants for the 2026-2027 period has ended.
The Public Officials Arbitration Board, which began its work yesterday following an application submitted by the Public Employers' Board following the failure to reach an agreement on a raise during the 8th Term Public Collective Agreement negotiations concerning civil servants and retired civil servants, held its first meeting at the Court of Accounts. The meeting, chaired by Court of Accounts President Metin Yener, lasted approximately two hours and included discussions and decisions on the Board's work schedule, procedures, and principles.
The board will hold its second meeting tomorrow at 11:00.
A News reporter Filiz Uçan Savaş reported as follows: After failing to reach an agreement on civil servant raises, the Public Employers' Committee submitted an application last night. The Arbitration Board must respond to the application within five days. The first meeting began today at 2:30 PM. The committee makes decisions by majority vote. The decision is not appealed and is considered a contract. Memur-Sen also attended the meeting. The committee consists of 11 members.
