Seasonally adjusted CPI with special coverage increased

Turkish Statistical Institute ( TurkStat ) announced the seasonally adjusted special scope CPI indicators for August. Accordingly, the general CPI, one of the subheadings of the indicators, increased by 2.47 percent monthly in August. Last month, the CPI excluding unprocessed food products, energy, alcoholic beverages and tobacco and gold increased by 2.2 percent, while the CPI excluding energy, food and non-alcoholic beverages, alcoholic beverages and tobacco products and gold increased by 1.84 percent. The index increased by 0.64 percent in energy, 4.44 percent in food and non-alcoholic beverages, 1.37 percent in energy and non-food goods and 2.73 percent in services. Monthly changes (percentage) in the seasonally adjusted special scope CPI indicators in August are as follows: General CPI 2.47, CPI excluding unprocessed food products, energy, alcoholic beverages and tobacco and gold 2.2, Excluding energy, food and non-alcoholic beverages, alcoholic beverages and tobacco products and gold CPI 1.84, Energy 0.64, Food and non-alcoholic beverages 4.44, Energy and non-food goods 1.37, Services 2.73.
