145 lawyers applied to the advertisement 'Lawyer wanted with a salary of 30 thousand liras per month'

Turkey cannot get out of the middle-income trap that has been criticized for years and that every economic management promises to get out of. Almost everyone's salary in the country is around the minimum wage. In a country where the minimum wage is 22,104 TL, 145 people have already applied in 4 days to the lawyer advertisement that opened with a salary of 30,000 TL. The company that placed this advertisement, which requires 'advanced English', sells houses for citizenship.

It claims that it will open the doors to 'high income' by promising foreign currency bonuses to the lawyers it will employ on these sales. The ad also includes the statements 'Communication and consultancy with the client can be experienced at any time of the day' and 'It is not an easy job, you need long and extensive working hours, and a strong patience'.

Lawyers stated that there is no such line of work and said, "They are making lawyers do the work that real estate agents should do."
