Having finished the 2024-2025 season in the Super League in 10th place with 47 points, Kasımpaşa’s experienced midfielder Gökhan Gül is leaving the blue-white team. The 26-year-old player, whose contract will expire on June 30 after the season is complete, is expected to be transferred to one of the Italian Serie A team Genoa, United Arab Emirates team Al-Wahda, SC Freiburg from the German Bundesliga, Russian representative FK Krasnodar and the new Super League team Kocaelispor. Al-Wahda management invited the player and his representative to the country for a face-to-face meeting for Gökhan Gül’s transfer.
