What kind of art events will be held in Izmir?

Izmir State Theatre will stage the plays "Of Mice and Men" at the Bornova Cultural Center Bozkurt Kuruç Stage, "The Fugitives" at the Konak Stage, and "The Strange Story of Rüstemoğlu Cemal" at the Karşıyaka Ragıp Haykır Stage between 13-17 May. Izmir State Opera and Ballet will present "Children's Ballet" at Bornova Culture Center Necdet Aydın Stage on May 12, "Undiscovered Compositions" on May 14, and the Izmir State Opera and Ballet Children's Choir concert on May 16. Bornova Culture Center Rakım Elkutlu Hall will host music lovers with the Izmir State Classical Turkish Music Choir's "Gözlerime Bakmasaydın" concert on May 15. Izmir State Symphony Orchestra will give a special concert for May 19 Youth and Sports Day in memory of Laçin Akyol on May 16 at Ahmed Adnan Saygun Arts Center (AASSM). Assoc. Gizem Akcan's "Self-Awareness through Art" workshop, Gülen Ertuğ's "Flexible Mind Strong Body" talk on May 13th, author Berna Nalbantlar's "Writing" workshop on May 14th, and historian Pınar Sözer's "The Door Opening from the Fire Place to the Modern World: Kültürpark" talk on May 15th will be held. Also at İzmir Culture and Art Factory on May 16th, Dr. Faculty Member Urungu Akgül's "Virtual Reality Applications in Museums", Elif Erginer's "From Tekel Tobacco Factory to İzmir Culture and Art Factory: The Story of a Transformation", Prof. Dr. Ceren Ünal will present "Empresses in Byzantine Coin Iconography", and the 4th İzmir Mandolin Festival will be held on May 17. The İzmir Metropolitan Municipality (İZBB) Department of Culture and Social Affairs will organize concerts, plays, workshops and talks throughout the week. The Historical Kemeraltı Tradesmen Turkish Music Group Choir will perform the "Spring Concert" under the conductorship of Derya Derin at the Konak Elhamra Stage on May 14, and the European Union Philharmonic Orchestra will perform at the AASSM. İZBB Ödemiş Konaklı Village Theater will present "Bir Zamanlar" at the Konaklı Wedding Hall on May 14, İZBB City Theaters will present "School of Clowns" at the İsmet İnönü Stage on May 15, and "Çok Tuhaf Investigation" on May 17 to theater lovers. In the city, there will be a performance by Emre Aydos at the İzmir Culture and Arts Factory on May 12-24. "Traces of Time" exhibition will meet art lovers with the "Hamza Rüstem in Izmir City Memory in its 100th Year" exhibition on 16-24 May.
