The Beatles film scriptwriters have been announced

Four separate biopics are being shot for members of the legendary band The Beatles. The project, which will focus on the lives of Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Starr, will be directed by the famous name Sam Mendes.

THREE AWARD-WINNING SCREENWRITERS IN THE PROJECT

The films will be written by award-winning British screenwriters Jez Butterworth, Peter Straughan and Jack Thorne. The four-part production is planned to be released one after the other in April 2028.

THE CAST DRAWS ATTENTION

The production will star Harris Dickinson as John Lennon, Paul Mescal as Paul McCartney, Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr and Joseph Quinn as George Harrison. Each film will focus on the band members' personal stories.

Director Sam Mendes stated that he had been dreaming of this project for years and said that the story of The Beatles was too big to be told in a single film. Regarding making separate films for each member, he said, “This is an opportunity to understand them more deeply.”
