A meeting of art, culture and gastronomy in Vienna: an original and inspiring bridge between Türkiye and Austria

As part of the two-day program, the Art Austria fair, the heart of contemporary art, was visited and inspiring tours were held in the studios of leading artists in Austria. Led by Kaan Aras and Wolfgang Pelz, the event provided guests with the opportunity to discover the cultural heart of the city. In addition, dinners held at Michelin award-winning Mon Cher were etched into memories as one of the most special moments of the event.

Throughout this journey full of art and culture, special meetings and intimate conversations with important figures strengthened the ties between the two countries. Former Austrian Chancellor and Minister of Foreign Affairs Alexander Schallenberg and world-famous fashion designer Atıl Kutoğlu were among the important figures of the event.

Visitors also had the opportunity to encounter the works of many important artists from the Austrian and international art scene. Herbert Brandl's abstract nature landscapes, Maria Lassnig's self-portraits on body sensation, Xenia Hausner's theatrical compositions, Richie Marley Madeira, who draws attention with his portraits of African origins, and Paul Landerl with his multidisciplinary art approaches, offered art lovers unforgettable experiences.

As a continuation of this special event, Austrian and global artists will come together again at the international art fair to be held in Istanbul in September with the support of Art Port. The aim is to deepen the creative dialogue between Turkey and the international contemporary art world and to further strengthen the cultural bridges. The Vienna Art, Culture and Gastronomy Meeting continues to be an inspiring step for the cooperation and shared creative energy between the two countries to reach new horizons.
