Trump sanctions Wall Street Journal over Epstein! Removed from press pool

According to CNN, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, answering reporters' questions at a press conference, stated that she had been removed from the press pool covering Trump's visit to Scotland "due to the WSJ's false and defamatory conduct," citing the WSJ's reporting on the allegation that Trump sent Epstein a birthday letter.
Leavitt, stating that 13 different media outlets will participate in the press pool to cover Trump's trip to Scotland, said, "The WSJ will not be one of these 13 organizations due to its false and slanderous behavior."
"As the appeals court affirmed, neither the WSJ nor any other news organization was granted special access to cover President Trump in the Oval Office, on Air Force One, or in his private workspaces," Leavitt said.
WSJ report
The WSJ had alleged that Epstein's girlfriend, Ghislaine Maxwell, had asked acquaintances to write letters to Epstein on the occasion of his 50th birthday, and that one of these letters was from Trump.
In its report titled "Jeffrey Epstein's friends sent him obscene letters for his 50th birthday album. One of them was from Donald Trump ," the WSJ also claimed that there was an "imaginary" conversation between Trump and Epstein inside a "naked female figure" drawn in pencil.
Trump, on the social media platform Truth Social, denied the claim that he sent a birthday letter to Epstein, claiming the news was "fake" and that the WSJ had become a "disgusting and filthy rag."
President Trump stated in a post on his Truth Social media account on July 18 that he was eagerly awaiting the testimony of Rupert Murdoch, owner of the WSJ newspaper, which reported on the allegation that he sent a birthday letter to Epstein.
The AP was also barred from attending White House events.
The AP announced it would not comply with Trump's order to change the name "Gulf of Mexico" to "Gulf of America." In response, the White House barred AP reporters from attending the press conference.
The agency filed a lawsuit against three Trump administration officials, claiming their freedom of expression was violated by blocking their access to presidential events.
Despite an April 9 court ruling granting the AP full access to presidential activities, the agency was still denied access to White House events.
