Trump claims the letter he allegedly sent to Epstein is not genuine

Trump, in a statement to reporters, denied the authenticity of the letter he allegedly wrote to Epstein, calling it "nonsense," according to NBC News.

"That's not my signature, and that's not my style of speaking. Anyone who's followed me for any length of time knows that's not my language," Trump said.

Trump, who described allegations that he sent letters to Epstein as "a dead issue," said, "This is nonsense, and frankly, you're wasting your time. I don't comment on a dead issue. I've forwarded all comments to staff. This is a dead issue."

"Sexual" birthday letter

Trump's "sexually explicit" birthday letter, which he rejected, was made public.

The US House of Representatives Oversight Committee alleged that the birthday letter, which Trump rejected, was sent to Epstein by the US President.

The letter was allegedly sent as part of a gift package for Epstein's birthday in 2003. The letter, which bore Trump's name and signature, was reportedly framed by what appeared to be a hand-drawn silhouette of a curvy woman.

In the letter, Trump allegedly said to Epstein, "Friendship is a wonderful thing. Happy birthday. I hope every day is another wonderful secret."

Trump filed a $10 billion lawsuit against The Wall Street Journal, which published the news about the letter, and denied all allegations regarding the letter.
