Scorching heat and showers warning from Meteorology

The Turkish State Meteorological Service has issued both heat and shower warnings for July 23rd. Temperatures are expected to reach 44 degrees Celsius in Diyarbakır, while localized showers are expected in the Eastern Black Sea region and higher elevations of Eastern Anatolia. Experts have warned citizens against sunstroke.

According to a report published by the Turkish State Meteorological Service, temperatures across Türkiye will remain above seasonal norms. Thermometers will exceed 40 degrees Celsius, particularly in Southeastern Anatolia, the Aegean, and Marmara regions.
